RX Rated Slumber Party?

So, I know our pharmacies are like a second home to many of our patients, especially if they're drug seekers but what I saw this morning was ridiculous.  As soon I as opened, I had women walking in wearing their pajamas and I'm not talking about cute or even sexy sleepwear.  Now, I know some people probably went to the ER last night WEARING their pajamas due to whatever unbearable pain prevented them from changing prior to leaving home.  However, it's UNACCEPTABLE to walk in public wearing faded, smelly, run down pajamas no matter how comfy they may be to wear,.  Maybe after they sell their Norco they can go buy a new set of pajamas or at least a robe.

Drive Thru

What the HELL is wrong with people who go into the pharmacy drive-thru and HAVE TO ring the call button before their car even stops rolling?  I can understand them doing this if we don't acknowledge them with 30 seconds since most patients are SO high maintenance but this is ridiculous.  When they go to the drive-thru at McDonalds do they hit the bell right away?  What about at Burger King?  How about Taco Bell?  Or In-N-Out?  Of course not!  I wish we could have a sign they could see on their way into the drive-thru informing them that "This pharmacy is equipped with electricity and more modern technology than your own house so please be aware that we know you're in the drive-thru before you know you're in the drive-thru yourself".  If a patient really feels the need to push a button on arrival, they better be willing to stab them with a flu shot in return.
